Finally, at the Splash Festival 2011 in front of his home crowd, Kwaito Kid seized the All-Africa Heavyweight Title from the relentless Johannesburg bruiser Xterminator and fulfilled a long-term goal. The All-Africa Heavyweight Title has been arguably the most hotly-contested championship in WWP for the past several months. Kwaito Kid and Xterminator were in the midst of a year-long rivalry over the gold, first competing for mere contendership, then competing for the title itself. PJ fulfilled another dream in 2008 when he joined the WWE ranks. Today, he is known as Justin Gabriel. Tornado won the title for the second time in the Democratic Republic of Congo by defeating WWP alumnus Dameon Duke – a match that is regarded as one of the greatest classics in WWP history. The WWP World Heavyweight Title was first sanctioned almost a decade ago and has seen defences in several countries around the world such as DRC, Mauritius, Nigeria, India, and other regions. Showing how tough and amazingly competitive the division is, there have only been four champions in its entirety. Tornado has played a prominent role in the title’s history and has proven throughout the years why he is number one. When it’s all said and done, no one has reached the heights that Tornado has, and he will undoubtedly be remembered as the greatest professional wrestler in the modern age of wrestling in the Southern Hemisphere.
